Background of Don Kopf, Ph.D. Dr. Donald Kopf, is a licensed psychologist whose mission is to help organizations and individuals develop the potential within themselves so that they are more effective and successful. He sees each person and group as full of possibilities and abilities that can be strengthened and grown. He believes that each person has the ability to grow, learn and meet lifes challenges with the talents and gifts they possess. Through the years, he has worked with a great diversity of groups and individuals differing in age, profession, culture, gender, ethnicity and problems. To help people reach their goals, he uses a variety of proven approaches that allow people to understand their own behavior, emotions and personality, thus enabling them to make these attributes into assets rather than liabilities. Using a combination of individual and group activities, he creates opportunities that allow people to try new more effective ways of relating to themselves and others. He has found through his studies and experience that true change is best accomplished through experiential activities that challenge the person or group in the moment. He sees his work as an opportunity to teach others how to develop their strengths and abilities to meet the real challenges in their own lives.
